The best marathon in Indonesia will return on September 9, 2018. Yes, Bali Marathon is the most organized and attended marathon in Indonesia. More than 2000 people are expected to run the events which will start at 5 am, in the early dawn, just before the sunrise. By starting at 5 am, most of runners will finish at 10 am before the peak heat of Bali’s sun.
The route will start at Bali Safari and Marine Park, going through picturesque Balinese villages and country-sides where villagers, adult and children alike, will be cheering the runners. Some will come with traditional dresses, barong and other Balinese dance and music performances. There is no lack of fun or spots for picture taking.
The organizer (run.id) encourage shuttle from several area in Bali to get to the start point vice versa. As per information on the website, the returnee can take the bus at 9.30 am, 11 am, and 1.30 pm WITA. The transportation will be free for all entrants including the family members after registering transportation method on the online registration. The booking will only be available online, and those who have not booked will not be allowed to hitch the ride.
For runners staying in the Ubud area, the pick-up point will be at Puri Ubud (Ubud Palace) area, at the Jalan Raya Ubud corner Jalan Suweta, about 2.3 km from NamaStay (enough distance for a warming up?!?). If you haven’t registered online and plan to stay with us, you may hitch with our transfer to the start line with a minimum cost. We offer packages as follow:

The shuttle will run early in the morning from NamaStay parking lot and for the return transfer from Bali Safari and Marine Park to NamaStay every 1.5 hour starting 9AM, 1030AM, 12noon and 0130PM. Just enjoy your run and training, and we will do the rest for your convenience.
