Bali Spirit Festival 2018 is here!

This is the 11th year of Bali Spirit Festival. The first one held on 2008, with the effort of co-founders, I Made Gunarta, Robert Weber, and Meghan Pappenheim. It was built over a foundation of Tri Hita Karana (Tri Concept of Well-Being), a life philosophy of Balinese in which harmony is the central focus. The harmony was interpreted as building community support and creating holistic wellness and well-being for the audience which will be projected to the bigger communities and general population. It aims to foster positive change and spread message of love and peace to the world.

Nowadays, Bali Spirit Festival is well known among Yoga aficionados, both amateurs and pros; world spiritual practitioners, singers, song writers, chanters, and healers. Anticipating about 6000 festival-goers, the festival has become a main event in Bali, particularly Ubud area. Full yoga workshops will be run from 8 AM to 5 PM daily, with international and local instructors mastering almost all-kind of yoga styles. You name it, I bet they have them.

Other than yoga workshops, they also have Dharma Fair, a bazaar of local organic ingredients, kids’ zone for those coming with kids, and music stage. There will also be evening performances (Bhakti Nights) titled ‘One World, One Stage,’ that includes music, poetry, and dance.

If you are interested and thinking about going there, the organizer provides special shuttle services from around central Ubud, starting 7 AM to midnight. The shuttle points will be at Ubud Monkey Forest, The Ubud Soccer Field, Bali Spirit’s KAFE, and ARMA Café.

We hope the good stay will give you good festival experience! Have fun
